Your Road Starts Here: a Companion for School Leavers

the story begins (the brief)

The Primary Health Network commissioned us to develop digital resources for young people navigating the daunting transition from school into adult life. They needed content that felt authentic and genuinely helpful – created with young people, not just aimed at them.

the plot thickens (our approach)

We collaborated with young people across the Central Coast, Hunter and New England to shape every aspect of the platform. The result was 'Your Road Starts Here' – featuring peer-to-peer video advice, an interactive digital wellbeing journal, and a hero song/film clip that captures the excitement and uncertainty of this life stage.

the resolution (what we created)

Your Road is a comprehensive companion for school leavers facing big decisions about work, study and life. The resources feel like advice from a friend rather than another lecture – support from those who've just walked the same road.

Lead By Story acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live, The Darkinjung People. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
