Coast Well: a One-Stop Youth Mental Health Platform

Creation of a custom digital platform for original youth mental health commissioned by headspace, Central Coast

the story begins (the brief)

headspace Central Coast approached us to create a digital mental health resource hub for young people and their families. They needed a platform that was accessible, engaging, and genuinely designed with young people at the centre – not just for them, but with them.

the plot thickens (our approach)

We collaborated with young people throughout the entire creative process, ensuring every element reflected their needs and perspectives. The result was Coast Well – featuring video series like "While You Wait" for those on waitlists, "Stories of Survival" sharing lived experiences, and "Classroom on Country" exploring wellbeing through First Nations perspectives.

the resolution (what we created)

Coast Well is a digital sanctuary where young people can find practical tools, brave stories, and expert advice on their own terms. By centring youth voices in both design and content, we created a resource that feels authentic rather than institutional – believing that the best mental health support comes from genuine collaboration.
